Upcoming Musical Shows

Finally !!! we booked the musical performance directed by Ivan Heng "Cinderel-Lah" on 10th Dec 2010 and popular Irish dance "Riverdance" on 3rd Dec 2010. Both of us look forward to watching them as they are one of our favourites.

We watched RiverDance before (11 years ago while we are still 'pak tor') :) :). I still remembered we rush to watch the Matinee show right after we alight from our Weekend Cruise trip with my parent and my mum's friends. Hope the standard is still the same.

Looking forward to December :)

Yellow Ribbon Run 2010 - A wet and meaningful run

It was raining when we woke up and it doesn't seem to stop. We were having second thoughts about going ahead for this race but somehow we decided to. This was our first time running under the rain and it doesn't seem to dampen our mood, see Helen even got a free raincoat provided by the organiser. It was overall a meaningful and good run with lots of ups and downs ... i mean slope :-). This is the second successful year for Yellow Ribbon Run and we are proud to be part of it and of course for a real good cause. Next Sunday, we will be running again and this time, the Army Half Marathon 2010. Both Helen and I running the 10k open.   

Yellow Ribbon Run - 2010

This coming Sun 5th Sept, both Helen and myself going for our run at Changi Prison. This is the second year we're participating this event.

I'm participating the 10 km Men open while Helen will run the 6 km Fun run. It has been quite a while since we ran. This Prison run is unique because you get to finish the race inside the Prison compound. It is rare to be inside the Prison area and even the route can be quite challenging as there are alot of small road with very steep up and down slope. Well this is not new to us as we ran last year and look forward to this coming race on Sun. 

This race also act as a training for the following race for Army Run 2010. Both Helen and myself going for the 10 km open competition. Hope to finish the race with better timing this time round. Pray hard for good weather too. 

Voyage De La Vie @ Resort World

Went to watch Voyage De La Vie at Sentosa Resort World on 28th Aug 2010. We were very surprise with the performance and it was superbly impressive. We enjoyed the whole stunts especially the juggler. It was a unbelieverable experience !

December Rain (雨季)

Helen and I attended the Chinese musical, December Rains (雨季) on Saturday 7 August. We were both impressed by Kit Chan (陈洁仪)’s singing and the combined songwriting talent of Liang Wern Fook (梁文福) and Jimmy Ye (叶良俊).
